Handi Quilter SALES 2 Day Hands on EVENT!!!!!!
The Handi Quilter van and machines will be in Walla Walla for three days of hands-on education, inspiration and fun. This class is a 2-day class for people interested in purchasing a Handi Quilter. The class is Monday & Tuesday 9:30-4:30 April 20th & 21st. Come get your hands on the HQ Amara using free motion and Pro-Stitcher techniques. National Educator Jeannine Grabowska will be on hand to guide you through each of the sessions. You will leave not only with new confidence and inspiration but also with handouts to use to recreate and support the information and training from each session. This is a great time to see if Handi Quilter is right for you and if owning one is in your future.

Day 1
AM Class- The Basics
Class Description: Does longarm quilting interest you, and you’d like to learn more
about it? Or do you just want a review of longarm quilting basics? This class removes
the mystery of longarm quilting by explaining machine and frame elements and
features, how to load a quilt, and vital facts about thread, needles, and tension. Handi
Quilter longarm machine and frame systems come in various sizes for every budget
and are user-friendly because they are designed by a quilter, for quilters – just like
you!
PM Class- Free-Motion
Class Description: Quilters everywhere LOVE the excitement and fun of free-motion
quilting – and it’s easier than you think! Create flowing designs by connecting simple
design elements with continuous lines, traveling across the quilt or filling in a specific
area. Learn how drawing and muscle memory contribute to beautiful free-motion
quilting, and how you can create stunning designs.
Day 2
AM Class- Pro-stitcher
Class Description: Pro-Stitcher is an intuitive computer-guided quilting system
designed especially for use with Handi Quilter longarm quilting machines. User-
friendly and simple to operate, the step-by-step process for each function is easy and
fun. Whether finishing your own quilts or consider a quilting business, come see the
elegant and precise quilting you can accomplish with Pro-Stitcher. New users – start

PM Class- Rulers
Class Description: If you love precision and consistency in your quilting rulers, you
will love using design rulers and templates! These handy tools assist in placing designs
accurately and stitching them out precisely. Learn to handle rulers and templates
safely with the ruler base and Sure Foot, and how to achieve accuracy with the
markings. The wide variety of Handi Quilter rulers will inspire you to new design
heights.

| Instructor Bio: | Gardening, hiking, decorating, sewing, and entertaining are some of Jeannine’s favorite activities when she’s not working. Volunteer work has also always been important to her. She has enjoyed being a wife and mother, but also enjoys working and staying busy. Career life for Jeannine started in the hospital laboratory. After enjoying 29 years as a Medical Laboratory Technician, she decided in 2015 to begin a new career venture in small business, quilting for others. Her previously loved HQ Avanté® with Pro-Stitcher® was purchased in 2016, and the learning began. In January of 2017 she launched Chickadee Cottage Quilting, and the true adventure commenced! In the four years that followed the business grew rapidly, creating a need for a new HQ In nity® to be added to her studio. She has become an award-winning quilter, earning awards for her professional quilting. Imagine her joy when she was given the opportunity to be a part of the Handi Quilter National Educator team just a couple of years later! Jeannine enjoys teaching and sharing the knowledge she has gained quilting on her longarm machine with new quilters to instill con dence and joy in their quilting journey! Her experience in free-motion quilting, ruler work, Pro-Stitcher, and PS Designer allows her to teach all aspects of longarm quilting. She is looking forward to working with you to create successful, fun events for your customers! |
