Embroider the Season
Add a handmade touch to your holiday greetings in this fun and festive one-day class! In Embroider the Season, you’ll create beautiful embroidered Christmas cards and a matching ornament — the perfect keepsakes to share (or keep!).
Each student will be able to choose between two unique card designs and two ornament options, letting you personalize your projects to match your style. Whether you’re new to embroidery or a seasoned stitcher, this class is a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit, learn creative techniques, and make something truly special.

| Requirements: | Embroidery sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, thread, 75-11 needle, glue stick, stabilizer (sticky, tear away), hoop (130x180, magnetic recommended). |

| Instructor Bio: | It seems like I’ve been sewing forever. My mother sewed for us kids and I loved watching her. I got my first Viking (6450) in 1978. I took classes and learned to try new things. I learned machine embroidery using coffee filters and sandwich bags. I have had so much fun learning and trying new things over the years. I worked in a fabric store in Wyoming when all the beautiful knits came out -needless to say my paycheck went to buying those beautiful knits. We moved to Kennewick in 1983 and I bought the Viking #1 embroidery machine. I bought every new machines that Viking came out with and now own the Epic 3. I love embroidery of all kinds. I also quilt and get a lot of pleasure out of that as well. I just love sewing in general! For me, it’s great therapy, creativity and relaxation. |
