Brightly - A Two Block Quilt with Jodi
Have you only made one quilt and are ready to try another? This is a good project to help you continue to understand reading a pattern. By making two simple blocks, you can create this fun classic quilt that will wow! Basic quilting tools, the pattern and fabric are all that is required. The class is broken into two nights to allow time to help you cut, sort and have plenty of time to feel comfortable with the blocks to finish. I'll show you my way of organizing block pieces for a project. Come join the fun!

| Instructor Bio: | I learned to garment sew in high school and assisted a friend wth her custom bridal business for many years. A friend talked me into taking a sampler quilt block of the month class, which served as a good exposure to many block techniques. As I finished that first quilt, another friend said, "come see my new machine!" It was a long arm, and I soon found that piecing and long arm quilting are my passion. My husband and I have lived in Walla Walla since 2017. Retirement has allowed me to really stretch my quilting skills. I enjoy using Creative Grids rulers on projects. Their ease of use has relieved much of the frustration that can come with this craft and have allowed me to become a more accurate quilter. It is a joy to share what I have learned with others. |
