| Requirements: | Bring a machine you are familiar with and all your basic sewing supplies. It is best to have a small cutting mat of your own as there is limited cutting table space available. Further details will be sent in an email the week before class. |

| Instructor Bio: | I learned to garment sew in high school and assisted a friend wth her custom bridal business for many years. A friend talked me into taking a sampler quilt block of the month class, which served as a good exposure to many block techniques. As I finished that first quilt, another friend said, "come see my new machine!" It was a long arm, and I soon found that piecing and long arm quilting are my passion. My husband and I have lived in Walla Walla since 2017. Retirement has allowed me to really stretch my quilting skills. I enjoy using Creative Grids rulers on projects. Their ease of use has relieved much of the frustration that can come with this craft and have allowed me to become a more accurate quilter. It is a joy to share what I have learned with others. |
