Chickens

$40.00

Tuesday, Jun 18, 2024 - 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Make these chickens as traditional or wild and as you desire based on your fabric choices. The pattern is adaptable for three sizes and fat quarter friendly. The sew and flip technique is used throughout the pattern to create the angles and can seem intimidating. I'll share tips and tricks for working with the small pieces and how to use the Creative Grids Folded Corner Clipper as a helpful tool. The ruler is optional and the quilt can be completed without it, but it is one of my favorites to improve accuracy for sew and flip angles. Once signed up, I'll send you instructions on preparations before cutting. By the end of class, you should have one or two blocks completed and well on your way to finish your chosen project! Come make the easiest chickens you will ever own!

Instructor Name: Jodi Wittrock
Instructor Bio: I learned to garment sew in high school. Around 2005, a friend talked me into taking a block of the month class and. As I finished that first quilt, another friend said come see my new machine, a long arm, and I was totally hooked on piecing and the long arm process. My husband and I have lived in Walla Walla since 2017. Retirement has allowed me to really stretch my quilting skills. I enjoy using Creative Grids rulers on projects. It has allowed me to become more accurate quilter. I love to share what I have learned with others.
